Releasing Self-Doubt
You were not born with self-doubt…
You learned it.

Self-Doubt is: Lack of confidence in oneself and one's abilities.
It can show up in many ways and is associated with low self-confidence.

It’s also associated with: anxiety, depression, procrastination or lack of motivation, and difficulty making decisions.

Silence it: Talk back! Don’t let the voice of self-doubt be the boss of you!

Our brains default to the negative to protect us, but that doesn’t mean it’s always dishing up the most helpful thoughts and feelings. In the case of self-doubt, it’s always good to stop it in its tracks by questioning it so it doesn’t spin out of control.

Think of it as one part of you, trying to protect you. Ask it what it fears or what it longs for. You can have compassion for it, have a conversation with it, and then YOU can be in charge of the decision you make. Let your doubting part have a voice, but don’t let it have the last word.
