2 simple ways to manage stress in uncertain times

Heal Yourself – Heal the World

There is a lot happening in the world, filling many of us with stress and anxiety. Add to that the holidays, which can be joyful and stressful at the same time.

To the extent that we can replace our worry, stress and anxiety with peace and joy, we not only improve our lives, but we help the world as well.

Two simple things I use to do this are:

  1. Music

  2. Beauty

MUSIC: Lee Harris recently released some “Medicine Mantras”, and you can find them on YouTube. They feel powerful and beautiful and soothing to the soul. The videos that were created to go along with them are quite delicious as well.

BEAUTY: In my opinion, one of the most beautiful and awe-inspiring things in the world is nature, including the critters. Being in nature always calms my spirit. This little critter visited my backyard recently and didn’t seem to be bothered by my presence. Watching it fly around instantly uplifted my mood.

As a bonus, I’ve included a picture from a recent trip to Bryce Canyon National Park.
